Tracie Matheney, CPA 

Tracie Matheney is a principal of the firm and brings a rare combination of public accounting and corporate finance experience. She served four years as controller of a national financial services company headquartered in Spokane Valley and has more than 30 years of experience serving clients across Washington and Idaho.

Before co-founding Matheney and Matheney CPAs in 2004, Tracie operated her own successful accounting practice helping individuals and small to midsize businesses lower taxes and improve their financial management.

Her expertise includes:

J. Keith Matheney, CPA

Keith Matheney brings more than 30 years of executive leadership, accounting, finance, and operational experience. Prior to entering public accounting, he enjoyed a successful career with a major forest products company where he advanced through senior leadership positions including:

• Vice President of Sales and Marketing
• Group Vice President
• Executive Vice President

His first 16 years were spent in accounting and controllership roles, giving him deep financial expertise combined with real-world executive management experience.

Since co-founding the firm in 2004, Keith has focused on helping businesses in Washington and Idaho grow stronger, improve profitability, and make smarter financial decisions.

His specialties include:

Keith is licensed as a CPA in Washington and Texas. He is a graduate of the University of Akron, completed the Mahler Advanced Management Training Program, and has served on boards of public and private companies.
